Directions for in-person gatherings
Help guests find the meeting place with an invitation map, optional address checking and Google Maps directions.
Use a complete destination
Choose In person and enter the street number, city, region and country. Add a ZIP or postal code where applicable; it is included when you save. Add entrance details, accessibility notes, parking and meeting-point instructions in the description. A complete destination reduces confusion between similarly named places.
Check before sharing
Check address sends the address and postal code to Google Maps to find a matching location. Selecting a result saves its map pin for directions while keeping your written address and postal code as entered. Review the pin before choosing a result, especially for campuses, parks and venues with several entrances. Checking is optional: if no match is found or the service is unavailable, you can still create the meeting with your entered address. The invitation shows a map and Get directions opens Google Maps, which chooses the route and may ask for a starting location. Meetyn does not track the guest’s journey.
Keep venue changes consistent
Edit the original meeting so its invitation stays current. Enabled automation destinations can receive the change. Calendar subscriptions refresh on the provider’s schedule. For a last-minute move, post the address directly in the group conversation too.

Your questions, answered
Does it need a Google account connection?
No. Organizers and guests do not need to connect a Google account to Meetyn to check an address, view the invitation map or open directions.
Does Meetyn access my location?
This link does not request or store your device location in Meetyn.
Who verifies the address?
Google Maps can suggest a matching location, but the organizer should check the pin and entrance before sharing. A match does not guarantee postal deliverability. Failed checks never prevent saving your meeting; a complete address simply helps guests get more accurate directions.
Put the idea into practice.
