Post Meetyn gathering updates to Discord
Give your community a clear invitation and automatic change notices in the channel where it already talks.
Connect a channel you manage
A member with the necessary permissions creates a webhook in Discord Server Settings > Integrations. Choose the channel and copy its URL. A Meetyn workspace owner or admin opens Connections, selects Discord and saves the URL with a recognizable name. Send test confirms that the destination receives messages.
Choose a useful amount of activity
Start with publication, changes, cancellation and poll finalization. Messages include the meeting title, time and invitation link. RSVP messages are optional; a busy group may prefer to leave them off. Guest response names never appear. Mentions are suppressed so a title cannot ping everyone in the server.
Keep the invitation as the place to respond
Members open the Meetyn link to RSVP. The webhook posts channel messages; it does not create native Discord scheduled events or synchronize Discord interest with Meetyn attendance. A change notice is a new message. Open the invitation for the current plan.
Pause or move a connection
Pause when the group takes a break. To change channels, create a webhook for the intended channel and replace the old Meetyn connection. Removing a connection stops future use by Meetyn but does not delete old messages or revoke the webhook in Discord.

Do members need a Meetyn account?
No. Guests open the invitation and respond with a name.
Does it read channel history?
No. The connection sends messages and does not import chats.
Will every member get a notification?
Discord permissions and each member’s notification settings determine what they see and hear.
