Set a minimum turnout and turn interest into a plan

A clear decision before you meet
Enable minimum turnout when creating or editing a meeting. Choose how many Going responses you need and set a deadline at or before the start. Maybe and Not going do not count. Organizers count only if they submit a Going RSVP.
You choose what a shortfall means
Automatic cancellation is off by default. Leave it off and the meeting stays open after a shortfall. Turn it on and Meetyn cancels if the minimum is not reached at the deadline. Later withdrawals do not reverse the deadline decision. Scheduled checks may be delayed; the invitation shows the current state.
Keep guests informed
Encourage guests to request verified email updates. A cancellation updates the invitation and sends an update to opted-in subscribers. Guests without email updates can revisit the invitation or see the organizer’s copied update in the group chat.
Your questions, answered
Does cancellation update Google Calendar or Outlook?
Calendar copies saved through Add to Calendar or an ICS import do not update automatically. Subscribe using the invitation’s calendar subscription URL to receive changes when your provider refreshes it. Refresh timing varies; use verified email updates for a separate alert.
Does providing an email create an account?
Meeting updates alone do not create an account. Guests can separately choose an account and seven-day organizer trial with trial emails. The account is created after email confirmation, with no card and no automatic charge. Existing accounts do not get a new trial.
Are these verified attendance counts?
No. Responses use lightweight guest identity, not ticketing or verified attendance. Use this for everyday coordination, not admission enforcement.
