An email calendar invitation is addressed to a recipient. A Meetyn link can be posted in a group chat, added to a community page or shared as a QR code. Guests enter a name to RSVP.
Let attendees save their own calendar event
Guests can open Google Calendar or Outlook, or download an ICS file for Apple Calendar and other calendar apps. Email is not required to download the file.
Be clear about changes
Calendar exports are snapshots, not automatic subscriptions. If you change the meeting, post the updated Meetyn link in your group. Scheduled email updates are planned. For now, post a clear update in the group and ask attendees to refresh their saved event.
